Location My university’s Asian Library (yes, we have one)
So I haven’t blogged in a month even though I had literally a month off. I’m a boob. I suck! I didn’t even read the last post’s comments (reading them now AHH) So now I’m in school (fun times) and I am blogging not because I want to but because I have so much time…let me explain…
This is my schedule for the Spring 2010 Semester. Very exciting… X_X
M,W: 9:10-12:10 PM: Intro to Graphic Design I
M,W,F: 12:20-1:15 PM: Theology II: Pers. On Christianity
M,W,F: 1:25-2:20 PM: History: Emergence Global Society
M,W,F: 3:35-4:30PM: Philosophy II: Ethics
T,TH: 1:30-2:55PM: Anatomy and Physiology
(My university is a Catholic school so we have a billion of core classes that other universities do not…like 3 Philosophy classes, 3 Theology classes, etc)
So today is Wednesday and is the first day of the spring semester. My Graphic design class is a studio class that is supposed to be 3 hours long but because it was the first day it was barely an hour. For those who do not know, I live with my grandma so I can just walk to my university (I have to take 2 buses from my house, ew.).
And it just so happens that TODAY my grandparents are at the doctor.
And I don’t have the keys to their house.
And my next class is in another 2 hours.
And I have nothing to do for these 2 hours.
And I’m bored.
AHHHhhHH!!!! T_T
QUESTIONS FOR YOU~
1. In a job interview, when they ask “Why do you want to work at OUR company?”, what do you respond/write? Or, what would you write?
(I’m trying to get my 1st job so…yeah. Help! X_X)
2. Do you read manga/watch anime? If so, please recommend me some good ones

18 years old. 09/30/1991. Very annoying, weird, corny, and uncool. Currently a college freshman studying Speech Pathology at
Playlist
Anime:
Manga:
good luck with school ! (:
1. ‘because i believe i can bring many benefits to the company. at this company, i will be able to bring my leadership skills to the work environment.’
(ehh, im not too good at this haha)
haha, my push ups look retarted and fake. XD
1-ughs, I hate job interviews(not that I had any) more like interviews. I had to do one for why did I want to join a club and I had to make up something on the spot since I was so nervous I forgot everything. I said something along the times of; I think this club could teach me more about business(it was a business club) and that I was interested in learning about what they do and stuff.
2-Manga I would suggets is ums. Special A and Aishiteruze Baby
Anime don’t really watched I’ve only watched Prince of Tennis(which is also an amazing manga but its so longggggg XD)
1. Because I want to learn new things from your company and this is also my opprtunity to grow as an employee and as a person as well. —Hehe, kinda cheesy, I know. LOL
2. I recommend Code Geass and Gundam 00. If you haven’t watched Death Note yet, try to give it a watch. =D
Hectic sched! :3 My alma mater in college is a Dominican school, so we have 8 Theology classes in our curriculum. ;_; But after we graduated, it was shrunk to only 4 Theology classes. Unfair! =/
Anyway, good luck with studies! <3
And oh, Kimi ni Todoke is good. :3 The anime and the manga versions are awesome. :3
1. In a job interview, when they ask “Why do you want to work at OUR company?”, what do you respond/write? Or, what would you write?
"I want to work in your company because I believe that I can learn a lot of things and they'll contribute a lot to my work experience and growth." ~ Hee. Good luck, Sapphire! :3
2. Do you read manga/watch anime? If so, please recommend me some good ones.
~ I recommend… Kimi ni Todoke! :3
2 hours is ok. Just surf the net instead or watch DVD.
My school before is a catholic school too, that’s why I feel all your sentiments, because of that theo subjects.
1. Just tell them that you feel like you’re supposed to be there, that you’ve been working towards a goal all your life, and that their company is where you want to be headed.
2. I am relatively new to the anime sphere, so anything I’ve seen, I’m sure you’ve already seen, lol. I know I’m a little behind the times here but I’m on a Code Geass kick right now
Haha, I love the title of your post! Made me laugh. You sound so busy with school! Tues/Thurs aren’t quite as bad, but still. You probably have to do homework and stuff. Ick. Good luck with everything
I just have to say this beforehand: I just love your layout. I just love those little manga pieces on your sidebar. I love manga, lol
anyway.
1. Oh. Haha. Tough one.
Good luck!
I’m still in highschool and stuff, but I guess I’d say, “I’m pretty confident that I’ve got what your company needs, and since this is my first job, I’m sure I’ll learn a lot of from this job.” Something like that.
2. Kuroshitsuji
Or maybe Kaichou wa Maid-sama! or Charming Junkie. Or Soul Eater. And like what Luna said, Kimi ni Todoke is good too
)
I like your schedule.. ive got only 4 subects in school this semester.. and my classes is only every WF.. lol I like your subjects.. haha
Don’t worry about the multi-posting XDD hahaha
I always thought you just blogged monthly O.o it’s nothing to be gah about ^^
I’ve never REALLY tried to get a job before…..it all depends on the job, I guess. Or you can just bs it and be like “oh I really like this company, I’ve been buying stuff from you since I was little -blah blah blah- and now I wanna be a part of it -blah blah-”.
I got nothing for the anime request XDD I just finished hitman reborn today ToT
Aww, I envy your schedule. I agree, you have lots of free time. I always wake up early because my classes start at 7: 30 AM. T__T I know! It sucks big time.
We don’t have a Graphic Design subject here. T_T Tell me how it goes.

(I’m trying to get my 1st job so…yeah. Help! X_X)
~Oooh, that’s tough. I hate doing interviews, but I guess you could say “I want to work at your company because I would want to share my knowledge and skills with you and I could learn from this experiece as well.”
2. Do you read manga/watch anime? If so, please recommend me some good ones.
I bet you’ve watched K-On already right? Hehehe. Its really fun!
~Hmm, I haven’t read manga in a long time. Try watching Kimi No Todoke if you haven’t.
–
Haha. It’s okay. XD I’ll link you now too.
Haha. I sometimes do what you usually do too. If I feel lazy about studying all I have to think of is my parents. They worked hard for me to go to school so I should work hard too so their efforts won’t be a waste. It’s not weird. Haha.
WOW! You have a fanlisting collective too? Link please?
I wouldn’t mind being fanlisting collective buddies as well. *hint hint*
I actually haven’t read any manga or watched anime, but I really want to. I just don’t know what’s good.
Wow your schedule sounds packed! I hope you have a good time at school though (:

Broaden my experiences? IDK; I’m underage so I can’t really apply for a job.
2. Do you read manga/watch anime? If so, please recommend me some good ones No but I do like Fruits Basket. Sorry. :/ I don’t like Anime much x-x;
Btw sis, I visited your exits page and my link is broken… =(
i really hope your desing class is worth while I heard university design classes don’t help much.
ohh. my bestfriend is in a christian school, so they have some of those core courses too. they even learn Greek. meehehe.
well i havent applied for a job so i dunno. the only anime I watched was Perfect Girl Evolution, which was sorta cute
Hi there, Sapphire!
Dropping by to say that I have moved to WP! Please do relink me. THANKS! *hugs*
Haha it’s nice that you get to update your blog in the library, though.
1. I’ve never worked part-time lest a real job so I don’t really know.
I’d probably write that I want to use my skills in that field or something.
2. I only read shoujo manga scanlations because my hobby’s a secret.
You can try ‘Shounen Shoujo Romance’ by George Asakura if you haven’t already. It’s pretty corny and it’s completely scanlated. Yay!
Graphic design sounds like such an interesting class! I wish my school offered courses like those
Good luck!
As for the interview question, read up about their company: their organizational culture, their mission statement, etc, and then based on those information, give them an honest answer. If they’re a big company, chances are they’ve heard one too many cliche answers and will know when you’re trying to give them one. Refined honesty is the best policy in this case
I’ve always wondered what religion-based private schools are like
.
GREAT ANIME: Kimi ni Todoke (though I’m sure you’ve heard of it already ^^).
