Site reramp & 2009 recap!

Music LM.C: BOYS & GIRLS

Wow it has been about a month since I last posted. The past month I was authentically BUSY. At the beginning of this month I had 5-10 page papers due in all of my classes and finals just a week ago. Don’t get me wrong; I was not stressed because I do not cram anymore…just busy!

Anyway, I decided it was time for a new layout. First of all, in the middle of October I cut 6 inches of my hair and the layout I had up was with my long hair, so it was annoying looking at it XD Anywho. I also update my profile picture there since the previous picture was really outdated, haha. Man have I visibly matured (or aged ) over the past couple of months! Wow, 2009 went by really fast. It feels like just yesterday when I was applying to colleges and when I thought I was going to major in Childhood Education (thank God I did not). When I think about myself one year ago, I cannot help but think that I would have never have guessed that I would be where and what I am today. The future is quite frightening and mysterious! But that is what makes it fun and exciting Unfortunately, my 2009 New Years Resolutions were all pretty much EPIC FAIL. 9/10 of them involved improving relations with my ex-boyfriend! haha well life moves on! 2010 is a nice number~~~!

MY 2O1O NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS WOOT WOOT
1. Keep my GPA above a 3.7 (2010 includes 2nd semester and 1st semester of 2nd year!)
(EDIT 12/23 WAHOO ALL MY GRADES FOR 1ST SEMESTER ARE UP! 4.O BABYYYYYY ;D Hard work pays off!)
2. Be there for my family and friends.
3. Quit wasting and asking my parents for money.
4. Try to enjoy socializing with new people (haha).
5. Make use of, organize and expand this site!
6. Maintain my current healthy, laid-back, stress free, happy outlook on life.
7. Make layouts for Poopie-chan and Butt-chan within the next few weeks! (Sorry gaiiz T_T)

Heh. My resolutions for this year are pretty short ^^; I really cannot think of anything more at the moment -_- Anyway, I made a gift for my blog buddies, commenters and visitors ♥

Hi everybody! Yeah that little ‘brief hiatus’ turned into two months! //fail. But I was honestly planning to update with a new layout but I have have been so busy that I have not had the time to make one that I was satisfied with.

School is going pretty well. My midterm average is about a 3.7 which sucks because I want a 4.O! I got a B+ in my English Composition class because I handed things in late…and an A- in Evolution because my test average was a 90! BOO!!! Everything else was an A with the average of 100+ in all 3 classes so they had no choice but to give me that…MUAHHAa

But I’m thankful for midterm grades! They forced me to do better…so in English Composition I made sure to hand in everything ontime and I recieved a 97 on my Evolution test! ^_^ Evolution is not that bad anymore…I still hate essay tests though! BOOOOOO

Thanksgiving Recess is starting in a few days!!! Yay! But nooo at the same time! I have papers due after the recess in every class! eww.

But aside from school, I have been into Katekyo Hitman Reborn! THIS SHOW IS FILLED WITH YOUNG BISHONEN ♥_♥ MARRY ME HIBARIIIII lol just kidding… ;D

But out of all seriousness, Thanksgiving is supposed to bring to mind what we are thankful for! So I hope all of you think about your loved ones and your good health or whatnot during this break!

What I’m thankful for:

1. My friends: Amanda, Jessica, Lucia and Sally. Thanks for being there for me and making me enjoy life!
2. My good health!
3. My happiness!
4. My family for bearing with the angsty me.
5. My grandma and grandpa for letting me stay at their house on weekdays and taking care of me.
6. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! for giving me good laughs and Hibari for making my heart go DOKI DOKIIII hehe
7. My flashdrives! I don’t know what I’d do without you little things.
8. Sushi! so yummy.
9. My body for allowing me to live life to the fullest.
10. God for making me go through lots of shit…but without all that shiz, I wouldn’t be what I am today! And I love me!!! (not to sound like a narcissist or anything)

Work hard, -be happy- hard!

HELLOOOO my lovess :3 If my weekends aren’t what people consider happy and fun, I don’t know what is! I now know what people mean when they say, “I LIVE FOR THE WEEKENDS!” I work like a maniac during weekdays (despite this, it’s still surprisingly pleasant) and reward myself with weekends

My birthday is on Wednesday, September 30th! I’m going to be 18! WHOA! Old! Last saturday, I celebrated my 18th with mi lovely amigos! It was pretty awesome, two of my friends made me cakes (surprise!)–not from cake mix, but from scratch (I felt the love TwT)! How awesome is that?

Karaoke marathon for 6HOURS! FUN TIMES ♥ And after we left, they sang me a pretty pretty happy birthday *w* I LOVE THEM! And then we started singing like maniacs in the streets of Manhattan in the dark TwT

And that wasn’t all! We got home pretty late but I had to wake up early the next morning (sunday) because of the…NY ANIME FESTIVAL! I wasn’t planning on going because I’m broke, but Jess and Amanda bought a ticket for me as a surprise b-day present ^_^ But because it was a surprise, I didn’t dress up at all! Well, I tried to…on the bottom I wore red converses, fish-net like stockings, and black shorts and called it a day :B

Ahaha..yeah that’s me on the left T_T Candid picture of me eating…looks like I’m going to work or something! There were some very impressive cosplayers and so much cute things to buy *_*! I didn’t take any pictures, but my schoolmate did (with his freakishly hightech camera). Visit his site for more pics!

Music Skillet: Whispers in the Dark

Hola guys! I have been gone for a bit and I do apologize! I’ve been busy–in a good way! Let me recap on some things that have happened in the past two weeks since my disappearance! D:

On the July 4th weekend, I went to Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Martha’s Vineyard (an island off of Cape Cod). I must say, it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I felt like I was in a travel agent’s pamplet! I live in NYC so I don’t see much sights like this! I highly recommend a visit!

I just came back from a 3day, 2 night orientation at the college I’m going to be attending this fall – St. John’s University. Aside from the lectures, it was really fun! (surprisingly) We had a cruise and stayed at the dorms and went to visit an old people’s house thing (not a nursing home). Unfortunately but at the same time, fortunately, all the guys there were literally mcfUGLY knuckleheads. =_= Guess I’ll be focusing on my studies in college! ahaha..

During my downtime hours, I’ve been watching/reading some stuff!

(from left) Bloody Monday is a really good Japanese drama. Its all suspense and has A LOT of twists, but doesn’t overdo it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. However, if you’re looking for a great laugh or some sort of love story, this isn’t the drama for you (it’s actually very tragic and depressing O_O) And I own the fanlisting for it! JOIN IT PLEASE?

Next is Full Moon o Sagashite. O.M.G. I cried at book 3&4…I didn’t finish it yet since I don’t have time, but I read up to book 4 and watched up to episode 2 (the anime and manga are different but I like the manga better and so do my friends). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT if you’re into cute and bittersweet love stuff TwT (and cute characters~ hoho)

PRETTY SOILDER SAILOR MOON! Ohh the memories! Me and my best friends decided to have a Sailor Moon marathon–that’s right, watching Sailor Moon for hours! Relive our childhood years! It was a great feeling! Tuxedo Mask is so…dreamy TwT *swoon swoon* hahaha.

Lastly, Fushigi Yuugi! I read the entire series in my high school library (yes my high school library has MANGA), but my BFFLs decided to have a Fushigi Yuugi marathon too! I’m actually sleeping over later to a friend’s house with my BFFLs to continue the FY marathon! TwT

And lastly lastly lastly, I got a laptop (not great, but free) from my college and..A BAMBOO TABLET! (finally!) I just got it so I didn’t have a chance to use it, but yay! I can’t wait~I’m pretty excited about it actually. Hehe. In addition, after watching Sailor Moon I got inspired to buy their nailpolish colors LOL. I also installed Adobe CS4 so I’m pretty excited about playing with that as well!
