Work hard, -be happy- hard!

Thought ‘You’ve got to believe that the sun will shine another day.’ – Because it will.

HELLOOOO my lovess :3 If my weekends aren’t what people consider happy and fun, I don’t know what is! I now know what people mean when they say, “I LIVE FOR THE WEEKENDS!” I work like a maniac during weekdays (despite this, it’s still surprisingly pleasant) and reward myself with weekends :)

My birthday is on Wednesday, September 30th! I’m going to be 18! WHOA! Old! Last saturday, I celebrated my 18th with mi lovely amigos! It was pretty awesome, two of my friends made me cakes (surprise!)–not from cake mix, but from scratch (I felt the love TwT)! How awesome is that?

Karaoke marathon for 6HOURS! FUN TIMES ♥ And after we left, they sang me a pretty pretty happy birthday *w* I LOVE THEM! And then we started singing like maniacs in the streets of Manhattan in the dark TwT

And that wasn’t all! We got home pretty late but I had to wake up early the next morning (sunday) because of the…NY ANIME FESTIVAL! I wasn’t planning on going because I’m broke, but Jess and Amanda bought a ticket for me as a surprise b-day present ^_^ But because it was a surprise, I didn’t dress up at all! Well, I tried to…on the bottom I wore red converses, fish-net like stockings, and black shorts and called it a day :B


Ahaha..yeah that’s me on the left T_T Candid picture of me eating…looks like I’m going to work or something! There were some very impressive cosplayers and so much cute things to buy *_*! I didn’t take any pictures, but my schoolmate did (with his freakishly hightech camera). Visit his site for more pics!

Welcome to college!

Wow, I haven’t updated in a while! College has started for me…and to my surprise….I like it! (say what?! hehe) And have also been preoccupied by it too. I won’t make any promises, but I’ll try my best to update on a bi-weekly basis and returning comments! aiyo!

English Composition: I like. (core)
Discover New York: I like. (core)
Philosophy: Human Person: I like. (core)
Science Inquiry: Evolution: The only class I came in thinking I’d like. Turns out to be the only class (& only professor) that I’m worried about getting even a B in (my goal this semester is 4.0). //Sigh. (core)
Phonetics: I like. (related to my major: Speech Pathology & Audiology)

Those are my classes! I guess I shouldn’t complain since I’m lucky to have 4/5 good professors. So far I’m doing well and I’m ontop of my work and studying hard, everyday!

In regards to this network and site, I am (still) driven on expanding the network. I (still..) currently have 2 projects coming up…hopefully I’ll have them both up by 2010!

WHOA! There was news of this kid in my university that was “A St. John’s University freshman who posted messages on Facebook threatening to launch a “Virginia Tech attack” at the Queens campus. (I attend the Queens campus!)”
(Read the full article HERE) He got caught…and what is SO WEIRD is that I know this kid! He’s in my English Composition class and he was absent on Wednesday, which everyone found weird because it was his writing workshop and it was kinda mandatory for the class. And everyone in my class all read his memoir and had to edit it! (it was about football..lol) WEIRD! He looked so normal and nice! =A=; So scary!!! @_@

And I think it was last year or the year before that when there was actually a transfer student in my school that brought a gun onto campus…like wah? T-T My school is alright (I like it at least) and the people are peaceful and nice. No signs of visible bullying. X_X
